Alicia D. Peters-Jordan
Alicia Peters-Jordan is the last of three children born to Samuel R. and Celestine M. Peters. She is a native of Richmond, Virginia yet has lived in 9 cities, including Austin, which spans from Virginia to Illinois. Alicia completed both her Bachelor of Science in Worship Studies and Master in Education in School Counseling degrees from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Shortly after, Alicia and Michael Jordan married in June of 2011 and relocated to Austin, TX.
As a singer, Alicia’s travels and music ministry have taken her to places far and near. She has traveled to Lagos, Nigeria twice where she was able to minister to over 2.5 million people during the Redeemed Christian Churches of God Holy Convocation. Other places of ministry include: Trinidad, Port of Spain and London, England. She has shared stages with gospel artists such as Timothy Wright, John P. Kee, Kirk Franklin, LaShun Pace, Donald Lawrence and Tri-City Singers, Ted and Sherri and Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, Steve Lawrence, Gaye Arbuckle, and Kim Burrell.
In April of 2001, Alicia recorded her debut album entitled “Alicia…In High Praise” (a unique compilation of Nigerian and American praise and worship songs). During her promotional tour, Alicia appeared on international television as a new artist on Black
